      Education

      Giampaolo Torrisi received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering in 2010, and the Dipl.Ing. degree in Electrical and Automation Engineering in 2012 both from University of Florence, Italy. He developed his Master Thesis at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, in building temperature control.

      Work experience

      In 2012 and 2013 he was at Eli Lilly Italy as process engineer for the design and setting up of a pharmaceutical production line in aseptic conditions.

      In March, 2013 he joined the "Automatic Control Laboratory" of ETH Zurich as a Ph.D. candidate. He works under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Roy Smith and Dr. Sébastien Mariéthoz.
